It was announced yesterday, Lili reinhart has been cast in a horror movie alongside Ke Huy Quan. It’s called ‘Bad Boy’ and is produced by the team who worked on ‘Longlegs’ and ‘M3gan’.

The movie tells the story of a woman trying to escape from a serial killer, seen through the eyes of his dog. You can read the full Deadline article about it right below.

Deadline — Ke Huy Quan & Lili Reinhart To Star In New Breed Of Horror Film, ‘Bad Boy’, From ‘Longlegs’ & ‘M3gan’ Producers; Black Bear Launching Hot EFM Package

Here’s a novel package that should generate some heat in the cold of Berlin’s EFM next week.

Black Bear is launching Bad Boy, a new breed of genre film that charts a young woman’s fight to escape a deadly serial killer through the eyes of man’s best friend, his faithful dog. There have been plenty of kids films and some dramas told from an animal’s perspective, but not many horror films.

From the producer of Longlegs, Dave Caplan, and M3gan, Divide/Conquer’s Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath, the film is set to star Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All At Once) and Lili Reinhart (Hustlers). Genre director Jacob Chase (Come Play, The Girl In The Woods) will direct Travis Braun’s Black List-topping script. Dave Caplan’s company C2 will also fully finance. Filming is due to start in August in Canada.

Casting is in process for the dog, which we hear will be a Terrier.

Black Bear previously sold box office breakout Longlegs and has anticipated horror Monkey on deck. Genre is increasingly prevalent at all the film markets as big-budget packages become more scarce and this is the type of project that could stand out from the pack.

Black Bear is repping international rights. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group rep domestic.

Here’s the fun synopsis: “Gary is a good boy who loves his new owner, Cameron (Ke Huy Quan). He gets treats and belly rubs and life is great. Gary isn’t allowed in the basement though. And even if he was, he can’t unlock doors. But there’s a girl (Lili Reinhart) in the basement. And she can’t come out to play. Gary doesn’t know it, but he’s her only chance.”

“I love dogs. More than people. And I’m tired of seeing horror movies where the dog is the first one to die!” said director Chase “They’re not just pets, they’re our best friends, and I believe it’s time for a horror film where the dog is the hero. Bad Boy is about loyalty, instinct, and the incredible bond between humans and dogs. It’s going to be a highly original, grounded, deeply suspenseful fresh take on a horror thriller. And I’m thrilled to collaborate with Ke and Lili on two roles unlike anything they’ve played before.”

Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan recently starred in season two of Marvel’s Disney+ series, Loki, for which he was nominated for a Critics Choice Award. Next, he will lead Universal’s action-comedy Love Hurts, followed by roles in Netflix’s The Electric State and the leading role in Lionsgate’s Fairytale in New York.

Reinhart is best known for her breakout role as Betty Cooper on the popular CW series Riverdale, as well as her performance in Hustlers. She is currently starring alongside Mark Ruffalo in writer-director Cooper Raiff’s limited series Hal & Harper, which had its world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Braun is the first writer to reach #1 on the Black List two years in a row. One Night Only is being produced by Olive Bridge, while Lord & Miller are producing Dying for You, which also made the list in 2022. On the TV side, Braun is currently in an overall deal at Disney.

Jacob Chase is represented by CAA, Affirmative Entertainment, and Gang, Tyre. Travis Braun is represented by UTA, Echo Lake Entertainment, and Gang, Tyre. Ke Huy Quan is represented by WME, and Cohen & Gardner. Lili Reinhart is represented by UTA, Anonymous Content, and Peikoff Mahan Law Office.

Last weekend, Lili Reinhart attended the Sundance Film Festival with her ‘Hal & Harper’ co-stars. Theu gave interviews to some medias such as Deadline, Vulture, IndieWire, The Hollywood Reporter, IMDb, TheWrap, and Variety. All of these medias, except IndieWire (for now), have uploaded the videos of the interviews and you can watch them right below. We’ve also added the screen captures of Lili from these videos in our gallery.

As the weekend continue, Lili Reinhart and the cast of ‘Hal & Harper’ are still doing press at Sundance Film Festival to promote the tv show. Yesterday was also a premiere of the show held at the festival. New portraits of Lili Reinhart and the rest of the cast for various magazines have also been taken and released, you can check everything out right below!

As promised a few weeks ago, ‘Hal & Harper’ is premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, and the cast is here to promote it. Being one of the leads, Lili Reinhart joined, of course, the party. She and the cast were first seen in and leaving the Shutterstock Chalet. They all then gave interview and visited the studios of Dealine, Vulture, IndieWire, The Hollywood Reporter, IMDb and TheWrap. The cast also participated in a few photoshoots, for Dealine, People, and Vulture. The Hollywood Reporter also posted a video of Lili Reinhart posing for portraits but hasn’t share them yet, hopefully soon!

According to some unsure sources, the director Meredith Alloway is adaptating a play into a movie and Lili Reinhart might be the main character. It is called ‘Forbidden Fruits’ and, according to the sources, it is set to star Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, and Sophie Wilde alongside Lili Reinhart. Of course, it’s just a rumor for now and can’t be taken as a fact, but we’re in hope of an official announcement soon.

Plot: Free People employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their ‘girl boss’ ways, the women are forced to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate. Based on Lily Houghton’s stage play: Of The Woman Came The Beginning Of Sin And Through Her We All Die.

After a year without a magazine photoshoot or cover, Lili Reinhart starts 2025 with a full interview, photoshoot, and January cover for Self Magazine. I’ve added all the photos from the shoot in our gallery and you can read the full interview right below.

SELFLili Reinhart Is Fighting for Her Health—and Yours

The actor has been navigating a medical mystery privately for years. She’s finally ready to talk about it.

If you’re one of Lili Reinhart’s more than 34 million social media followers, you’re probably familiar with the actor’s warm, but firm, social presence. She’s like your witty, charismatic big sister who’s as confident commanding an audience at the White House as she is taking down bullies in her comments section or speaking directly to her followers about mental health. Reinhart knows her audience—and isn’t afraid to advocate for them, or herself.

When I meet her at the Cara Restaurant in Los Angeles in early November 2024, Reinhart exudes a warmth I immediately recognize from her TikTok—she goes in for a hug the second I stand to greet her. Reinhart tells me she didn’t wear much makeup today because she knew she would end up in tears. “I was going to say to you the moment I walked in, ‘I hope you’re okay with crying,’” she says. “In my private life, when I cry, I really cry. That’s not something that’s very socially acceptable, as we know as women. We don’t fucking cry in public because it’s uncomfortable. But I knew I was going to cry today, and I didn’t feel nervous about it.”

We’re meeting in the afternoon on Thursday, November 7—the day after the 2024 presidential election was called for Donald J. Trump. Reinhart hasn’t been shy about letting her followers know exactly where she stands politically; on election eve, as Trump, someone who’s been found liable for sexual abuse, won state after state, Reinhart showed support for SA survivors. “I think these young men clearly have the wrong role model, and abusers are being rewarded,” she tells me. (Reinhart has previously talked about her own abuse from a male colleague in her teen years, though she’s avoided naming him.)

For Reinhart—and millions of other grieving Americans, including this author—defining the first week of November 2024 as triggering is an understatement. But the fact that we’re meeting on this particular day is just a cruel coincidence: Reinhart has been privately dealing with a debilitating, hard-to-pin-down health issue over the past four years. She says her doctors suspect that she has an autoimmune disease (though they’re not sure which one exactly) that’s causing several painful symptoms, or she may be dealing with the aftereffects of a previous infection.

Reinhart has been facing this frustrating situation privately, but decided to share it publicly now for a very personal reason: At the time of this interview, her grandmother had recently been diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer. Reinhart says her grandmother received a diagnosis after months of uncertainty and advocacy on her own behalf. She says her grandmother’s doctors initially attributed her symptoms to old age. Fighting for care has been something Reinhart has found herself consumed with in recent years too. Continue Reading

For her first event of 2025, Lili Reinhart attended the Vanity Fair & Amazon MGM Studios Awards Season Celebration in Hollywood. Inside the event, she posed with Adria Arjona. Unfortunately, there is only one photo of Lili Reinhart attending the red carpet of this event, even almost a week after. Either way, Lili is rocking a gorgeous retro/diva look and suits her so so well, she was divine.

Yesterday, The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast released an episode featuring Lili Reinhart. Still promoting her skincare brand, Lili participated in a podcast this time and talked about the top anxiety tools, stress management tips, and embracing self-compassion.
